We had buffet lunch here. Food variety is very limited compared to similar buffets offered by other nearby restaurants. Starters are also limited. Desserts only includes few fruits, ice cream and small cakes, not huge variety. Very few dishes of south Asian food. No halal food option.

Overall 3.5 stars rating. Good and accessible location with a nice neighbourhood for shopping and an evening walk. Beautiful interior of the hotel/restaurant with well trained and friendly staff. Menu is very basic covering Chinese, Japanese, Indian and western food as well as basic desserts. Drink menu is very limited and only on order which reduces excitement for families with kids. Limited selection of cheese and bread is also a negative for cheese lovers. Overall an okay place for once in a while buffet with family/kids but not the first option when you want to have a great buffet.

unpleasant experience ! I bought a Residence Club staycation package at New World Millennium Hotel which includes 2 complimentary breakfast at Cafe East. My wife is on diet so I went to breakfast alone. they force me to sit at the corridor outside the dinning room and don't let me refuse to take this table, this is totally ridiculous. the couple get in after me can arrange a table inside the dinning room, why can't i? it's funny that their hotel manager; Michael called half an hour after I filed my complaint at check out counter. I was expecting an sincere apology and a promise of customer services review but it's not, he gave me a bunch of BS and excuses. another ridiculous thing is, he told me that he will give me an hotel room upgrade for my next visit. Come on, if you do not upgrade your service standards, why would I come to visit again?

Cafe East has been our favorite dining venue for years occasionally for birthdays, anniversaries and holidays, ever since it was renowned under the management of Nikko. The service, food, people, place and price are just awesome. Had a pleasant dining on today for my loved one's birthday.

This is going to be popular with locals because they are doing a delicacies themed buffet as well as offering lobster and seafood. Overall the food was good but when I have buffets, I always scour for the cheese and curries.

Breakfast buffet is just soso. Table is too small, limited choices of food, presentation and the quality of food are mediocre. I expected more from a 5 stars hotel
